The Siva Afi Festival is a pioneering event that brings the talents and skills of wāhine and rangatahi to the fore, through a centuries-old traditional art form from Samoa – siva afi/fire knife dancing.

Day 1 of the Festival is dedicated to our Wāhine Toa Afi Competition and Day 2 is the NZ Schools Siva Afi Competition.

The Siva Afi Festival will be in its fourth year running next year, and we’re excited to be welcoming international competitors to our all-female Siva Afi competition, as well as special guest performers and internationally renowned experts.
